4 c. cold milk

1 box graham crackers, crushed
2 pkg. instant french vanilla pudding
1 (8-oz.) ctn. Cool Whip

Line bottom of 9 by 13 inch pan with some of the graham crackers. Blend pudding packages with 4 cups of cold milk for 2 minutes; then fold in cool whip. Frost with chocolate frosting. Chill overnight. Cut and serve. Serves 12.

Note: Jason and Justin and their brothers, always whined for me to make this on special occasions. Which one pan was never enough so I had to make two.

JASON'S MAMA'S BUTTER CAKES

Mix cake mix, eggs, and pudding mix together and put in 11 x 13 inch pan in which you have melted the butter. Sprinkle the butterscotch morsels and pecans on top, and just grab a bunch of brown sugar in your hand and SPRINKLE on top, also. You don't want too much. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.

Note: Jason could eat the whole pan.

1 (15-oz.) can butterscotch pudding

FRED'S BUTTERSCOTCH CHEESE CAKE

1 (14-oz.) can Eagle Brand
   sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 egg

1 (12-oz.) pkg. butterscotch morsels
1/3 c. margarine or butter
2 c. graham cracker crumbs

1 (8-oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened

Preheat oven to 350 (325 for glass dish). In sauce pan, melt morsels and margarine or butter. Stir in nuts and graham cracker crumbs. Press half the mixture in 13 x 9 inch baking dish. In large bowl, beat cheese until fluffy. Add vanilla extract, egg, and Eagle Brand milk. Mix well. Pour mixture in dish top with remaining crumbs. Bake 25-30 minutes or until tooth pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool to room temperature. Chill before serving and cutting. Refrigerate left overs (if there are any).

Note:
Fred and his step-dad (Rod Tronecker) used to fight over the last piece, but they always ended up splitting it. Now they are in Heaven together eating cheesecake.
