Those Who Have Died
BEN'S FAVORITE SATURDAY SPAGHETTI AND
oregano to taste
5 cloves garlic, or to taste
1 can pureed tomatoes.
4 T. grated parmesan cheese
2 eggs well beaten
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 lg. onion, or to taste
1 lg. peppers to taste
2 cans tomato paste
Cover bottom of pan with olive oil. Fry diced onions and peppers in it. Add
2 small cans of tomato paste and stir 10 -15 minutes till it starts to
thicken. Sprinkle oregano and crushed garlic cloves and stir. Add 1 can
pureed tomatoes and stir till heated. When heated, add about 1/2 - 1 pound
each of hamburger and sausages broken up and stir well. Simmer. (Add water
if it's too thick.)
1-lb. approx. each of hamburger and
sausages broken up
2 c. soft bread crumbs
2 small onions
Grind meat, bread and onions. Add cheese, eggs, salt and pepper. Mix well.
(I usually use my hands). Shape into balls, dip in flour and saute in frying
pan. Add to sauceabout 30 minutes before serving
Note: When Ben was about 4 or 5 he was invited to go to the beach with
his friend's family on Saturday. On Saturdays we had spaghetti for supper so
he wouldn't be home to eat with us. He was picked up to go and about 5
minutes later they returned. I figured they'd forgotten something but it
turned out Ben was so upset about missing spaghetti that they had to bring

1 pkg. pasta alforno sauce
4 level approx. handfuls of shell pasta
Place pasta in a pan of boiling water, bring to boil, simmer for 5 minutes.
Place pasta in dish,with pasta alforno sauce, sprinkle Parmesan cheese on
top and place in oven at 150° for 30 minutes. Remove from oven.
Note: Hey Presto a fantastic Italian dish in no time at all, serves
4/5 people this recipe was Adams favorite meal also it was his very last
meal. Adam the Little Sailor Boy.
Mix ingredients together, reserving cornflakes and 1/4 cup margarine, and
place in a casserole baking dish. Mix cornflakes and 1/4 cup margarine and
sprinkle over top. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour.
